Questions
Questions hostel owners ask.
Is HostelBeds better than Cloudbeds for a hostel?
If your dorms are the heart of your business, HostelBeds is built for exactly that: every bed sold and priced on its own, and guests rebooked automatically when plans change. Cloudbeds is the stronger choice today if you run several properties or need online check-in and upsells right now; those are on our roadmap.
How much does Cloudbeds cost?
Cloudbeds does not publish prices; you request a quote. It sells plans called Flex, One, Experience and Enterprise, and its channel manager and booking engine start on the One plan.
How much does HostelBeds cost?
€25 a month including 30 beds, then €1 per extra bed up to 100 beds and €0.50 per bed after that, with every feature included. It is open to a small group of pilot hostels for now, who use it free during the pilot.
Why do hostels choose HostelBeds?
Because the dorm is the whole point. Cloudbeds' hostel page describes bed-level inventory and check-in, but not automatic guest moves between beds or dorm price rules. HostelBeds has both, and you can try a live demo hostel without booking a call.
Try the difference yourself
Open the live demo hostel and move a guest between beds, set a price rule, or look at the calendar. No account needed.
Cloudbeds details were read from their own pages on 2026-09-20: cloudbeds.com, cloudbeds.com/pricing, cloudbeds.com/hostels. A “not stated” means we could not find it, not that it does not exist. Products change, so check Cloudbeds for current terms.
